Dr Prachi gained her Medical Degree from the University of Birmingham, UK. Following that she entered Specialty General Practice training in the South of the UK. After working for nearly a decade in the NHS Dr Prachi relocated to Melbourne continuing her career in General Practice.
Having worked in several specialties over the years Dr Prachi gained a wealth of experience and knowledge in many fields.
Dr Prachi has also obtained a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and a Diploma in the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health as well as attaining Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
Dr Prachi’s special interests include Chronic Disease Management (including diabetes, asthma, and hypertension) Mental Health. Children’s health and Aesthetic Medicine. She specialises in all areas of Women’s Health including insertions of Intra-uterine devices (Mirena and Kyleena) and Implanon, cervical screening, other contraception advice, pre-conception counselling, postnatal care, sexual and reproductive health.
Outside of work Dr Prachi enjoys going to the gym, reading, and spending quality time with her daughter, family, and friends
Dr Prachi Will be available Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from mid-May 2021.
